I always loved working with Helmut Newton. He was a great storyteller and had a wicked sense of humor. This is from a shoot I did with Helmut in Monaco for American Vogue. As we were doing this photo, Helmut said, “you are a widow…, your husband just died…, he left you a lot of money…,you have a young lover… He wanted to see how you took in what he was saying and how you could espress it on your face.
